Pei Li
Pei Li

Pei Li opened from early position and got called by Jeff Lennon and Huihan Wu. Hossein Ensan was in the small blind and shoved for around 600,000, and Li also shoved when the action got back to him. Lennon and Wu both folded.

Hossein Ensan: 22 All in
Pei Li: QQ

No help arrived for the 2019 WSOP Main Event winner as the runout of A6A76 sent him to the rail.

"Give me some of that Main Event luck," asked Li as he offered a fist bump. Ensan obliged and wished his tablemates good luck before he departed.

Belforti Takes from Foxen

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Justin Belforti opened 60,000 in early position and Kristen Foxen came along on the button.

When the AQ3 flop hit the felt, Belforti check-called a bet of 50,000 from Foxen.

The J fell on the turn, and Belforti check-called another bet of 200,000.

When the 5 completed the board on the river, both players tapped the table. Belforti rolled over QJ for two pair that improved to a flush on the river and Foxen mucked her hand.

Richards Screams Loudly

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

While Anthony Zinno was in the process of being eliminated, Carson Richards jumped up from his chair on the table next to it.

His 108 were still showing for a straight on the 49673 board while Ardit Kurshumi was looking at the scene in front of him as the dealer was counting all the stacks. Kurshumi held the 77 for a turned set which wasn't good enough to beat Richards.

After some time, the dealer declared that Richards had him covered, so Kurshumi quickly made his way out of the tournament area.

Kertland Scores Big Double Through Ko

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jesse Kertland's stack was being counted while the board read Q810510.

Kunal Patni and Petar Kalev relayed the action.

On the flop, David Dongwoo Ko had bet 50,000 from the big blind and Kertland called on the button.

When the turn came. Ko check-raised the 110,000 bet of Kertland to 385,000 and was called.

When the river finalized the board, Ko shoved with the bigger stack as he had the A3 for the nut-flush but Kertland called as he had a full house with the QQ to double up with.
