Kalev Fires Flop and Turn

Level 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Petar Kalev opened 80,000 on the button and Paolo Boi defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of AQ8 and Boi check-called a continuation bet of 55,000 from Kalev.

When the J hit the turn, Boi checked again and Kalev dropped 240,000 across the line. Boi went into the tank for about a minute before surrendering the pot.

Foxen's Run Ends at the Hands of Tkatschew

Kristen Foxen opened to 80,000 from middle position and Alexander Tkatschew three-bet to 200,000 on the button. When it got back to Foxen, she announced a four-bet to 700,000, and before she could even put the chips in the pot, Tkatschew had shoved all in. Foxen had around 200,000 chips behind and dropped them into the pot which put her at risk.

Tkatschew improved to a set on the 1064 flop which left Foxen needing running cards to survive.

There was some hope for Foxen as the K turn gave her a Broadway draw, but the A river meant she was eliminated.

Milliard-Feral Puts the Pressure on Klodnicki

Chris Klodnicki bet 200,000 into the pot of about 240,000 on the 1085Q turn, and Julian Milliard-Feral made the call.

When the J completed the board on the river, Klodnicki leisurely tossed a 100,000 chip across the line. Milliard-Feral responded with a raise to 600,000, putting Klodnicki in the tank. After about 40 seconds, he made the call.

Milliard-Feral tabled AJ, and Klodnicki quickly rolled over 1010 to take down the pot with a set of tens.
