Madar Claws it Back
Level 32
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Steven Ceresa raised in the hijack and Kevin Madar jammed from the small blind. Ceresa made the call and the players flipped their cards.
Steven Ceresa: A♥A♣
Kevin Madar: A♠K♣
Both players missed the 9♣5♣7♠8♣7♥ runout, and Madar thought he was eliminated from the tournament. The table called him back as the dealer placed just 225,000 back in his seat after the hand.
A few hands later, Madar was all in with 8♣4♠ and won a double on a 9xKx6x8xJx runout.
Madar moved in again with 8♣10♥ and was called by Sean Pitzer on the button, who had Q♠K♦. Madar got lucky and picked up straight on the 7♠5♣4♣9♦J♣ board, to give him another double and keep him in the tournament.
