Thomas Kuess and his short-stacked opponent got their chips in preflop.
Opponent: A♠Q♣
Thomas Kuess: A♦K♥
The short stack was hoping for a chop when the board rolled A♥4♦5♠2♣ but it was no luck for them when the 4♣ fell off the deck, leaving Kuess's pair of aces just one pip better than his opponent's.
Middle position raised to 16,000 and Zackary Fogle shoved from the hijack for around 60,000. The button called, and all other players folded, leaving the players to go heads-up to the flop.
Zackary Fogle: 10♦10♣
Button: A♣J♣
Fogle was ahead, but the button had some outs when the flop came Q♣9♦3♥.
The 9♠ turn killed the chance of the Button's flush, and the button also missed on the 2♣ river, securing the double for Fogle.
Just before the blinds increased, middle position raised to 16,000 and the cutoff re-raised to 50,000. Nolan Kido was on the button and moved all in for around 59,000. Both the blinds folded, middle position and the cuoff called, taking the players three-ways to the flop.
The board came 8♦10♥7♣ and middle position checked. The cutoff moved all in and middle position folded, leaving Kido and the cutoff to show their cards.
Nolan Kido: A♥A♣
Cutoff: J♥J♣
The cutoff was looking for a jack or the straight to come in but the 2♦ and 4♣ runout didn't bring anything in for them.
John Myung went all in for less than 80,000 in chips and, according to him, he hadn't won a flip in the last week and a half. James Rann on his left also went all in, covering but not by much.
John Myung: J♣J♦
James Rann: A♦K♣
The board was no help to Rann as it ran out 4♥3♦2♠7♦2♦ and Rann was left with a paltry stack as the bubble quickly approached.

Wolcyn made the call and the players flipped their cards.
Cutoff: A♠Q♣
Clint Wolcyn: 8♥8♠
The flop came 5♥2♦5♦ and the cutoff was still behind.
The 8♦ turn secured Wolcyn the pot and the opponent stood from the table as the J♣ was placed on the board.
