Peters Chips Up

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The under-the-gun player made it 900. Tobias Peters called from the cutoff, as did the button.

The original raiser continued for 1,700 on the 952 flop. Peters was the only caller.

The under-the-gun player then check-folded to Peters' bet of 3,200 on the J turn.

At the 2023 WSOP Europe, Peters ended his 11-year wait for his first bracelet, as he defeated legend of the felt Barny Boatman in heads-up play to take down Event #7: €1,650 NLH 6-max at King's Resort in Rozvadov.

Julien Sitbon

The middle position player opened to 800, and Winamax ambassador Julien Sitbon called from late position. The big blind also stuck around.

Action checked to Sitbon on the K82 flop and he bet 600. The big blind got out of the way but the original raiser made it 1,800 and Sitbon conceded the pot.

Sitbon's compatriot Simon Wiciak is also in the field, and he is representing PokerStars after being unveiled as an ambassador at EPT Paris in February.

Wiciak, best known for his EPT Barcelona Main Event triumph in 2023, sat down with the PokerNews team to look back on his memorable EPT run and what it's like to put on the coveted Team Pro patch.

Young Tables a Bluff

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Action was caught on the river with 11,200 in the middle on the 765510 board.

The cutoff fired out 8,500 before Maxwell Young jammed for around 37,000.

The cutoff went deep into the tank and ended up folding. Young slammed his J9 onto the felt, for just jack-high.

Young made headlines at the 2024 WSOP recently, being on the wrong end of a widely discussed slowroll deep into the $1,500 Monster Stack.
