Team Bradshaw Sends Team Pham to the Rail
Action picked up on a flop showing K♥6♥J♣ in a hand between Andrew Bradshaw and three-time WSOP bracelet winner David Pham.
Pham bet the flop, and Bradshaw moved all in for his team’s remaining 39,500. Pham went in the tank, counting out chips to see that Bradshaw had him covered. After a few moments, Pham made the call to put his team at risk.
David Pham: A♥K♦
Andrew Bradshaw: Q♥10♥
While Pham flopped top pair, Bradshaw flopped the world with an open-ended straight draw and four to the flush.
Bradshaw got there when the dealer placed 8♥ on the board, but he had to dodge a heart on the river. Bradshaw’s team was safe after 4♦ showed up on the river to eliminate Pham.
After the hand, Bradshaw declined to name his partner, much to the amusement of most of his tablemates.
“Put down anonymous,” Bradshaw said when asked for his partner's name. “He’s a ghost.”
Bradshaw pointed out he’s been unable to use the restroom because his partner hasn’t been to the table yet through the first seven levels to relieve him. One player at the table said Bradshaw’s teammate was at the Aria playing another tournament.
Bradshaw was overjoyed to win the pot, but he appeared annoyed on not seeing his partner.
“When I cash, he’s getting nothing,” Bradshaw said.
