Team Fujitsuka Powers Through on Flop

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action picked up in three-way action with Joe Fujitsuka in the big blind and involved in a hand with a player in the small blind and a player in early position.

The dealer fanned 9A9 on the board, and the player in the small blind and Fujitsuka checked.

The player in position bet 25,000, which resulted in a fold from the player in the small blind.

Fujitsuka had other ideas and check-raised to 52,000. The player in position leaned forward and asked to see Fujitsuka’s stack. Fujitsuka obliged by quietly moving his arms aside to give his opponent a clear view.

The player in position then raised to 90,000, but Fujitsuka responded in kind by immediately moving all in for his remaining stack, which was a little more than 300,000.

Fujitsuka’s opponent went in the tank and counted out what it would cost his stack to call. After a few moments, the player folded and the pot was pushed to Fujitsuka.
