Sinclair Soars Up the Leaderboard

Jack Sinclair raised to 2,200 from the hijack and was called by the player on the button. The small blind squeezed to 10,000 which was called by both Sinclair and the button.

The three players saw a flop of 7♣6♣5♠. The small blind fired out a bet of 20,000. Sinclair thought for a few moments before raising to roughly 50,000. The button got out of the way, but the small blind committed his last 20,000 and the cards were revealed.

Jack Sinclair: 7♦7♥

Sinclair was ahead with his set, and when the 6♦ came on the turn Sinclair improved to a full house and had his opponent drawing dead as a meaningless 2♣ came on the river.

With over 4,000 in the pot, the big blind check-called a bet of 1,400 from Pora. On the 7♣ turn, the big blind check-called again, this time for 8,000.

The river brought the 6♠ and the big blind checked for a third time. Pora fired out a bet of 26,000 and after a moment of thought, the big blind folded.
