Ryan Hoenig opened to 50,000 from middle position and then called after Aneris Adomkevicius three-bet to 185,000 in late position.
Hoenig checked following the 6♠8♠A♥ flop. Adomkevicius continued for 100,000 only to see Hoenig respond with a raise to 280,000. After some thought, Adomkevicius flatted.
Action checked through the 8♦ turn to the 9♣ river at which point Hoenig checked once more. Adomkevicius, unwilling to go to a cheap showdown, bet 375,000. That was enough to force a fold from Hoenig as Adomkevicius chipped up to hit the six million mark.
