The board read J♥10♣4♦Q♥A♣. Joshua Terebelo was deep in the tank. The pot had about 8,500 in it. From the button, Ian Simpson had placed a 25,000 chip out for a bet that was making for some serious consternation for Terebelo.

He encouraged the table to call the clock on him, and when a tablemate finally did he protested the amount of time he said he had been given but the floor came over to count it down and when the countdown hit zero the hand was dead and Simpson took the pot.

Mathieu Choffardet raised to 1,400 from under the gun, Bob Velthuis three-bet to 5,000 from the hijack and Choffardet called.

The 4♠3♥Q♠ flop saw Choffardet check-call a bet of 3,000 from Velthuis.

The 3♣ turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Velthuis sized up to 4,000.

The 5♦ river prompted a check from Choffardet. Velthuis bet again for 4,000 and Choffardet eventually made the call. Velthuis tabled Q♣Q♥ for a full house, winning him another pot.

Roy Bitton opened to 1,200 from the button and Andy Tsai three-bet to 4,000 from the big blind. Bitton made the call.

The flop came K♦7♦8♠. Tsai bet 5,200, Bitton shoved for 35,100 and Tsai, who had Bitton slightly covered, made the call.

Bitton had a flush draw and a gutshot but was in bad shape against Tsai who had the nut-flush draw. Tsai made second pair on the J♥ turn leaving Bitton drawing only to a non-diamond five. The Q♥ river was a brick and Bitton was sent to the rail while Tsai collected nearly a full double up.

Elsewhere in the tournament area Upeshka De Silva was recently eliminated.

Todd Dimartino opened the action with a raise to 1,500 from under the gun. Early position called before the hijack three-bet to 7,500. Both Dimartino and early position called.

Action checked through on Q♦Q♥J♦ before Dimartino led for 5,000 on the 7♣ turn. Only the hijack called.

Dimartino bet 5,000 once more on the 6♠ river but the hijack mucked his cards.

Howard Gets Paid

Nick Howard was heads-up from middle position against a lone opponent in the small blind on a completed board of K♠9♣5♦J♦6♥ with a sizable pot already brewing.

The small blind checked and Howard fired 20,000 into the middle, sending his opponent deep into the tank.

He eventually decided to look Howard up with a call and Howard tabled K♥J♥ for top two pair. Howard's opponent couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding the pot to Howard.

A player in early position raised to 1,200, Qi Chi three-bet to 4,000 from the cutoff and Simon Lofberg cold four-bet to 12,500, from the small blind. The original raiser folded and Chi put in a five-bet to 23,200.

Lofberg thought for some time before six-betting to 37,500. Chi tanked for a considerable amount of time before making the call.

The 4♥J♥10♣ flop saw Lofberg move all in for approximately 74,000. Chi was forced to fold.

Mizrachi Shoves the River

Michael Mizrachi was heads-up from the small blind against a lone opponent under the gun on a completed board of 8♦10♥J♣7♣8♣ with several thousand already in the middle.

Mizrachi's opponent already had a bet of 8,000 in front of him, and Mizrachi shoved for approximately 80,000, which was enough to put his opponent all in.

"You bluff me, I bluff you," Mizrachi said.

Mizrachi's opponent tanked for several minutes before laying his hand down. Mizrachi said he could pick one card to see. His opponent selected a card, but Mizrachi showed the other card, which was a 10♦, as he collected the pot.

Miller Flops Two Pair

Jeff Borris limped under the gun, the player in the hijack raised to 1,500, the big blind called and Borris came along for the ride.

The flop rolled out 6♦5♣8♦, Miller and Borris both checked, and the hijack bet 3,500. Miller raised to 7,500, Borris got out of the way, and the hijack called.

On the 3♠ turn, Miller led out for 6,400 and the hijack made the call. The river brought the K♦ and Miller bet once more, this time for 10,000.

The hijack flicked in the call and showed 10x10x for a pair of tens, falling to the 6♠8♠ of Miller, who had two pair, sixes and eights.
