Lowery is involved in the latest action as he raised to 600 and was called two ways. On the Q♣Q♠J♥ flop, Lowery bet for 1,000 and earned one caller. He then bet another 1,600 on the 4♠ turn and snap-folded when facing a raise to 4,600 by his table neighbor.
With close to 10,000 in the pot and the board reading 2♣3♦J♦A♣K♣, all three players in the hand checked on the river, one of whom was Jason Koon.
Koon tabled A♦8♦ in the big blind, besting the pocket queens of one of his opponents in middle position.
Georgios Tsouloftas lost a portion of his stack early on and then raised to 600, which only the button called. On the 7♠7♥3♦ flop, Tsouloftas made it 400 to go and earned a call before his second barrel for 2,000 on the 7♣ turn won the pot uncontested.
Sean Winter in middle position put in a bet of 1,000 on a turn of Q♥7♣3♦6♥. His opponent was in the big blind and check-called.
The K♠ turn was then checked through. The big blind showed 9♥4♥ for a missed flush draw, while Winter tabled 10♠10♣ for a pair of tens to win the pot.
The player in the hijack had a three-bet in front of her for 1,800 and was called by the player in the small blind, the player under the gun, and Lee Markholt in early position for a bloated four-way pot.
Action checked to Markholt, who bet 2,000 on the 4♥4♣10♠ flop. Only the small blind called.
The 2♠ fell on the turn and it was again checked to Markholt, who bet 4,000. This time his opponent folded and Markholt collected the pot without showing.
WSOP bracelet winner Alexandros Kolonias raised to 500 at the cutoff position, and then faced resistance when the player on the button three-bet to 1,700.
The two players in the blinds folded, putting action back on Kolonias, who called.
The dealer fanned 8♠2♣9♠ on the board, resulting in checks from Kolonias and the player on the button.
The 10♥ showed up on the turn and Kolonias led out with a 3,000 bet, which the player on the button called.
The dealer placed 4♥ on the river and Kolonias didn’t slow down, sizing up to a 8,000 bet. The player on the button leaned forward to look at Kolonias’ bet, then folded.
James Atkin opened 600 under the gun and the hijack called before Alejandro Lococo put in a three-bet to 3,300 from the small blind.
Atkin responded with a four-bet to 8,600, forcing the hijack to snap-fold. Lococo didn't snap-fold though as he went into the tank for just shy of three-minutes and eventually pushed his cards face down toward the dealer.
