O'Dea Chips Up on Short-Stacked Table; Whiteman Out

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Miller raised to 2,200 from the hijack and Eoghan O'Dea called on the button. Mikiya Kudo also came along in the big blind and the three saw a flop of AJ5.

Kudo checked to Miller, who bet 3,000 chips. O'Dea called before Kudo folded. The 7 turn then checked through, after which O'Dea bet 6,500 on the 3 river.

Miller quickly check-folded as O'Dea received some chips on a table where the majority of players was below the starting stack.

On another table, Biran Whiteman's Main Event run ended.

Thomas smashed the K109 flop, making top pair and a straight flush draw. The J turn improved him to a straight flush to send his opponent to the rail, and the 4 river was just a formality.

Sethi Runs Into Morgan's Aces

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Following a raise to 2,500 and two callers, Muskan Sethi pushed all-in for her last 11,500 in the big blind. The initial raiser called but Brian Morgan then went all-in over the top to isolate successfully.

Muskan Sethi: AK All in
Brian Morgan: AA

"Don't think I can fold this time," Morgan had mentioned right before the cards were isolated and Sethi caught no miracle on the 954108 runout to bow out in the second level of the day.

Jaka Continues to Navigate the Short Stack

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

John Kabbaj opened to 2,300 from early position and was called by Faraz Jaka in the cutoff and the player in the big blind.

Action checked to Jaka on the J5A flop and he bet 2,500. Only Kabbaj called.

The 5 fell on the turn and Kabbaj again checked to Jaka, who sized up for a bet of 6,000. This time Kabbaj let his hand go and Jaka added to his stack.

Meanwhile, Lindsey Kludt, Julien Martini, and Dominik Nitsche were all eliminated at other tables.

Dylan Lemery bet 7,500 from early position, and Erik Seidel in the cutoff made the call.

After the 7 river, Lemery over bet the pot for 55,000. Seidel thought over his decision but decided to make the call.

Lemery tabled KK for a full house, kings full of fives. Seidel patted the table and threw his cards in the muck.
