Sigmon Says Goodbye; Eastwood Runs Into Kings

Dumitru-Adrian Pora had raised from the hijack before Larry Sigmon jammed all in from the cutoff for 35,500. The action folded back to Pora, who called.

The A9J flop gave Sigmon four additional outs, but none arrived as Pora made trips on the 5A runout.

On another table, Nick Eastwood jammed in his short stack and was eliminated after he was called by pocket kings.

Nguyen Gets Kings to Knockout Lewis

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player under the gun limped in, as did a player in early position, middle position, and the hijack. Once action got to My Nguyen on the button, he raised to 20,200. Then Todd Lewis in the small blind three-bet all in to 72,500. The players that limped in all folded, and Nguyen made the call to put Lewis at risk.

Nguyen was in a great position against the ace-king of Lewis. Once the board ran out 7Q538 Nguyen improved to a king high flush, and eliminated Lewis from the tournament.

Talbot Raises it Away

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The J962 turn was on the felt with about 12,000 in the middle and Parker Talbot was faced with a bet of 3,500. He splashed 18,000 across the line, putting his opponent to a decision as he took about 40 seconds before mucking his hand.

Wong Shoves on Aldemir

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action on the flop, Fu Wong in the big blind was involved in a hand with Koray Aldemir in late position.

With the board reading 376 Wong checked. Aldemir bet 5,000 and then called a raise to 12,000.

The turn came 5, prompting Wong to move all in for around 65,000. After going into the tank, Aldemir found a fold to take a relatively small hit to his stack.

Hudson Bets Out Tehan

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Michel Leibgorin raised to 4,000 in early position before Mario Hudson three-bet to 14,000 in middle position. Joe Tehan put in a four-bet to 36,000 in the hijack and only Hudson called.

Both players checked the 4A2 flop and Hudson led out for 25,000 on the 3 turn. Tehan called.

The river was the 10 and Hudson bet another 51,000.

"Maybe, maybe not. Put in 51 and see," Hudson told Tehan, who tanked for several minutes. Hudson held out his cards over the table anticipating Tehan's move, and Tehan eventually folded.

Korfel Doubles Through Lahmani

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sherisse Korfel pushed all-in for her last 17,500 in the cutoff and Oshri Lahmani called from one seat over.

"I need a six," she announced and tabled the A6. Lahmani had the AK and was ahead, while Korfel added "that was my best hand in the last four hours".

The 1066 flop gave Korfel trips and she secured the double thanks to the 9 turn and 10 river.

Liow Scores a Knockout

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A shorter stack was all-in for around 30,000 and Marcuss Liow pushed his stack of around 100,000 into the middle as well to isolate.

The A10 of Liow were behind versus AK but the Singaporean got there with the A94109 runout to reduce the field by one.

Three players were on a flop of 26J. Sergi Reixach bet 3,500 from early position, Parrish Paoner called in the hijack and Felipe Ramos also called in the big blind.

The turn was the 10. All three players checked.

The river came the A. Reixach bet 17,000. Paoner folded and Ramos jammed all in for about 36,000 which got a snap-fold from Reixach.

Naoya Kihara and Carol Harmon checked a flop of 798 to see the 5 come on the turn. Kihara led out rom the big blind for 8,000 and Harmon made the call.

The 9 appeared on the river. Kihara bet again for 16,000 and got a quick fold from Harmon.
