Harmon Doubles With Flush Over Flush

Vlad Darie raised to 1,800 from early position. he was called by Naoya Kihara on the button, the player in the small blind, and Carol Harmon out of the big blind.

The small blind checked, and Harmon led out for 1,600 on the 4♦2♦5♠ flop. Darie called before Kihara raised to 5,200. The small blind folded, but Harmon raised to 15,000. Darie got out the way, and Kihara called.

The turn came the 3♦. Harmon bet 25,000 with roughly 30,000 chips behind. Kihara raised to put Harmon all in and she snap called.

Carol Harmon: A♦J♦ All in
Naoya Kihara: 8♦6♦

The 3♥ on the river didn't give Kihara the straight flush he needed to win, meaning Harmon doubled up with the ace-high flush.

A player under the gun raised to 2,500 and Janelle Jacobson called in the hijack before Gustavo Morales three-bet to 10,000 on the button. Only Jacobson called.

Both players checked the 6♦8♠7♥ flop and Morales then bet 15,000 on the J♦ turn. Jacobson called to see the 3♥ fall on the river.

Morales then bet another 25,000 and Jacobson gave it some thought before folding her hand.

Tony Hoang opened 1,700 under the gun and Gabriel Andrade defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of 10♥8♣3♠, and Andrade check-raised a bet of 1,600 to 4,500, and Hoang made the call.

The 8♠ fell on the turn and Andrade checked to Hoang who dropped a bet of 5,000 across the line. Andrade called.

When the 5♠ completed the board on the river, Andrade checked and Hoang fired 11,800. Andrade sighed as he took about 20 seconds before saying, "Okay, bluff me then," as he flashed the 9♦9♠.

On a board of 7♦A♥8♦9♣, Aleksei Donets bet 8,700 from the small blind into a pot of around 19,000. Sergio De Lisboa called from middle position.

The river paired the board with the 9♥. Both players checked it. Donets had the KxJx which De Lisboa had beat with the A♠3♠ top pair.

Picking up the action on the turn, Joshua Eisenberg in the cutoff was involved in a hand with Yanfeng Wang in the big blind as well as Aurelijus Sipavicius in early position.

With the board reading A♥6♣9♥2♠ Wang bet 7,500. Sipavicius called but Eisenberg responded by moving all in for 55,500. Wang thought long and hard before re-jamming, forcing Sipavicius out of the hand.

Joshua Eisenberg: 6♥6♠ All in
Yanfeng Wang: A♠9♠

Eisenberg was in a commanding position with his set and managed to hold on the 8♠ river to secure more than a double up at the expense of Wang.

Action was picked up with Khari Hutchings in the small blind all in for 30,900 and David Bowen from under the gun position debating his decision. Bowen eventually flicked in a chip to call, putting Bowen at risk.

Hutchings was in a great position with his pocket queens, until the board ran out A♣A♥3♠4♣6♣ to improve Bowen to trip aces and eliminate Hutchings from the tournament.
