Ramakrishnan Doubles With Jacks, Then Takes Out Jacks

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Karthik Ramakrishnan was all in for his last 33,000 from the cutoff and up against an opponent in early position.

Karthik Ramakrishnan: JJ All in
Opponent: 88

The board ran out 9105Q4 and Ramakrishnan's jacks stayed in the lead to earn him a double up.

A few hands later, a player in the cutoff raised to 4,000 before Ramakrishnan three-bet to 12,000 in the small blind. His opponent then moved all in for 34,000 and Ramakrishnan called.

All-In Player: JJ All in

Ramakrishnan was up against jacks this time, but he again had the higher pocket pair as his opponent didn't find any help on the A459K board. Ramakrishnan took down another pot to send his opponent to the rail and increase his stack past 100,000 in just two hands.
