Adam Gets Cooked

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Picking up the action partway through the hand, Adam Cook in the small blind was all in and at risk against Nazar Buhaiov in the cutoff.

Adam Cook: KxKx All in
Nazar Buhaiov: AA

Cook had run right into pocket rockets to leave himself drawing thin. The J76 flop kept the aces best with nothing changing on either the 10 turn or J river to send Cook out in cruel fashion while handing a boost to Buhaiov's stack.

Ahmadian Barrels Tkatschew Off the Pot

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Alexander Tkatschew raised to 8,000 from the hijack, Elia Ahmadian three-bet to 28,000 from the button and Tkatschew called.

The K6A flop saw Tkatschew check-call a bet of 15,000 from Ahmadian.

The J turn saw Tkatschew play in flow. Ahmadian sized up to approximately 40,000; more than enough to earn a snap-fold from Tkatschew.

2021 Champ Aldemir Scoops a Massive Pot

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

On the PokerGO feature table, Koray Aldemir, the 2021 WSOP Main Event winner, raised on the button to 8,000 with 54 before Dan Grolemund three-bet to 26,000 in the small blind with AQ.

After the world champ made the call, the flop came out 4Q5, a bit of a cooler. Grolemund led for 33,000 and received a call. When the 2 appeared on the turn, Grolemund this time opted for a check with top pair.

Aldemir, holding two pair, bet 62,000, about half the size of the pot. Grolemund then went for a check-raise all in for 222,000 total. That put Aldemir into a brief tank before calling the bet. Grolemund had picked up a gutshot straight draw on the turn as an extra four outs, but the 6 on the river sent the past champion a monster pot of 570,000, and sent Grolemund home on Day 3.

Flush for Fleischmann

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Arthur Fleischmann on the button was involved in a hand with Tom Dwan in the small blind, Bart Lybaert from under the gun and a player in the big blind.

With the board reading 83JQ action checked to Lybaert. He pushed 15,000 into the middle and received calls from Fleischmann and Dwan while the big blind opted to fold.

The river came 3, prompting Dwan to check once more. Lybaert bet again, this time sizing up to 36,000. Fleischmann quickly called but Dwan chose to get out of the way. Lybaert tabled AQ and then mucked after Fleischmann flipped over A4 for the flush to send the pot over to his opponent.
