2024 World Series of Poker
A full board of Q♠2♣3♦A♣K♠ was showing with around 80,000 chips in the pot.
Bryan Allen had shoved the river which put Joseph Mcmahon in a tough spot for the rest of his chips, which looked to be around 90,000. After some thinking, Mcmahon hadn't made his decision.
"This would be a big laydown," remarked Mcmahon to himself.
Eventually, Mcmahon did make the fold and Allen flipped the K♣ and mucked his second card.
Action folded to Fabrizio Gonzalez in the cutoff who put in a raise to 10,000. Next to act Michael Clements moved all in for 175,000 on the button. Gonzalez called all in for 84,000 and needed some help from the deck.
Fabrizio Gonzalez: K♠J♦
Michael Clements: A♣K♣
The dealer put out 3♣2♦4♥3♠5♦ and Gonzalez was eliminated.
Christoph Vogelsang was heads-up from the big blind against the player in the hijack on a A♠4♦6♦ flop.
Vogelsang check-called a 7,000 bet from his opponent on the flop and then both players checked on the 3♥ turn.
The 9♦ completed the board and Vogelsang checked again, prompting a 30,000 bet from his opponent. Vogelsang paused for a minute and then raised to 95,000, which his opponent called after a bit of thought.
Vogelsang tabled A♦7♦ for the nut flush and his opponent sent his hand into the muck.
Dario Marinelli opened the action with a raise to 15,000. Atanas Pavlov three-bet to 39,000 from the small blind and Johannes Lehner called in the big blind. Marinelli closed pre flop action with a call.
Pavlov continued for 42,000 on 8♣10♥10♦ and only Marinelli called.
The turn A♦ rolled off and Pavlov sized-up to 95,000. After a short tank, Marinelli mucked his hand and Pavlov raked in a chunky pot.
