Kessas would need to connect to survive but found no help on the K♠7♠9♣ flop. The 2♥ turn changed nothing with the J♣ river officially ending Kessas' tournament in 23rd place.
Kristen Foxen jammed 2,525,000 from the cutoff and Gabriel Moura rejammed for 4,325,000 on the button. The blinds got out of the way as the two shortest stacks of the tournament showed down.

The final woman standing was facing her elimination as the board ran out 4♠4♦9♥6♥.
The A♦ river saw her trump Moura's queens with her rivered pair of aces, however, as she remained in contention for the title.
The 22 remaining players have been sent on another 20-minute break. When they return, they will play one more 120-minute level or until 18 players remain, whichever takes longer.

Gabriel Moura opened to 1,200,000 and Luis Vazquez three-bet jammed a stack of 1,300,000 as Jordan Griff and Moura both called.
Griff checked on the flop of 8♥J♥A♦ and Moura bet 800,000. Griff folded K♣Q♦and the cards were flipped.

Vazquez had run into top set but picked up straight outs on the 10♣ turn. Unfortunately for him, the 10♥ landed on the river to improve Moura to aces full as Vazquez was eliminated.
Jason Sagle raised to 1,300,000 in the cutoff with 7♥7♦. Jonathan Tamayo three-bet to 3,300,000 on the button with A♣J♥, and Sagle called.
Both players checked the 10♣9♦5♣ flop. The turn was the 7♠ and Sagle led out for 2,300,000.
Tamayo called to see the 5♠ river, where Sagle bet another 6,000,000. Tamayo paused for a moment before folding as Sagle took the pot.
Kyosuke Nagami moved all in for 11,000,000 from early position and was looked up by Malcolm Franchi in the small blind.

Nagami was dominated and would need significant help to survive. The 10♥2♣Q♦ flop was not what the at risk player was looking for. The 5♥ turn left Nagami hoping to hit one of his three outs on the river but the 5♣ completed the board instead to bring his deep run to an end in 21st place.
Kristen Foxen raised to 1,200,000 with 9♥9♣ in the hijack and Yegor Moroz three-bet to 4,100,000 in the small blind with J♥J♦. Foxen called.
Moroz checked on the flop of 10♥10♠5♠ and Foxen bet 1,300,000. Moroz called. Moroz checked again on the A♠ turn and Foxen checked back.
Moroz checked once more on the Q♠ river and Foxen bet 8,000,000 to bring a quick fold from her opponent.
Boris Angelov with raised to 1,200,000 button and was faced with a three-bet to 4,800,000 by Kristen Foxen in the big blind. Angelov called to see the 5♣K♠9♦ flop hit the table.
Foxen continued with a bet of 2,500,000 and Angelov called. Foxen then slowed down on the 10♣ turn and checked it to Angelov. Angelov took the opportunity to bet 3,800,000, which Foxen called.
The K♣ river was checked down and Foxen's A♦K♥ for trip kings took down the pot, besting Angelov's 10♠9♠.
Diogo Coelho raised to 1,200,000 in middle position, Jason James three-bet to 3,000,000 on the button, and Coelho called.
James continued for 2,000,000 on the A♥8♥2♠ flop and Coelho called. Both players checked the 4♠ turn.
The 2♣ river was also checked through and Coelho turned over 9♣9♥ to win the pot.
Jonathan Tamayo raised to 1,200,000 under the gun before Jason James three-bet to 3,900,000 in middle position. Jason Sagle called in the big blind, while Tamayo folded.
The flop came Q♦7♦2♣ and James bet 4,600,000. Sagle called and the 10♣ fell on the turn.
James then bet 8,000,000 and Sagle again called. Sagle checked the 4♠ river and James checked back this time.
Sagle turned over A♦K♦ and James mucked as Sagle took the massive pot.
