Oleksii Haievskyi raised to 60,000 from middle position and Gus Vergos called from late position, Kris Prickett called from the button and Loan Truong four-bet all in for 415,000. Everyone called the four-bet. The flop came out as J♣8♠10♦ and everyone checked to Prickett who moved all in for 600,000 and it was heads up as the other two players were forced to fold.
Loan Truong: J♦J♠
Kris Prickett: A♦A♣
The turn 4♦ and river 9♣ did not alter the fact that Truong won with a set of jacks.
The player in the cutoff raised to 60,000 and the player on the button three-bet to 150,000 and Brice Ringler four-bet all in to 465,000. The cutoff folded and in the confusion Ringler exposed his cards before the button had made a decision. The play continued and the button asked for a count and then made the call.
Brice Ringler: A♠Q♠
Button: K♣6♣
The table was in shock regarding the call. The board ran out with 7♠4♠3♠K♥J♥ and Ringler hit the second nut flush for the nice scoop.
There has been no shortage of all-ins in the first level of play, as many players came into Day 2 on a short stack.
Cassandra Yong had just around ten big blinds when she open-shoved all in from the button preflop. The small blind folded and the big blind decided to call.
Cassandra Yong: Q♣Q♦
Big blind: 10♣6♣
Yong had a very strong hand for her stack and position and was able to get a light call from the big blind. The board ran out 2♠10♠4♥Q♠2♥ and Yong was able to avoid elimination and double up.
Mitsuru Fujiwara was in the hijack position and was facing a raise from the player under the gun to 45,000 and he moved all in for 345,000 and received a call.
Mitsuru Fujiwara: A♣A♥
Under the gun: 10♠10♥
The board ran out with 8♥8♦2♠6♦5♥ and the aces prevailed to double up Fujiwara.
Four players saw the flop of 9♣J♠5♠. The player in the big blind bet out for 140,000 and Ivan Berrios in middle position raised to 280,000. The players in late position and on the button folded. Big blind did not have much more left behind, thought for a moment and then put the rest of his chips in for a call.
Big blind: J♣4♣
Ivan Berrios: A♠6♠
The big blind was at risk and ahead on the flop, and made two pair on the 4♠ turn, but Berrios made the flush. The river was the K♦ and Berrios won the pot.
The table commented that the big blind just moved to an unlucky seat, as another player recently busted from there.
