According to the players, action started with a raise by the player in the hijack. Eric Penner was in the cutoff and went all in. The button and small blind folded. Lexy Gavin-Mather was in the big blind and reraised all in. Original raiser folded and Penner was the player at risk.

The flop was great for Gavin-Mather, it came 8♥10♠4♠, giving her top set.

Penner was drawing very thin, but got some help on the J♦ turn, which gave him a gutshot.

It was clearly Gavin-Mather’s pot, however, as the 10♥ rolled off on the river, giving her quads and sending Penner to the rail.

Nguyen raised from the cutoff to 800,000 and David Cabrera Polop three-bet all in for 2,825,000. Nguyen thought long and hard and finally made the call reluctantly.
