Suvarna Takes from Mustafov

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Santhosh Suvarna was seated in the exact same seat on his second entry and raised it up to 2,700 in middle position. He picked up three callers, including Fahredin Mustafov in the cutoff. The flop fell K53 and all four players checked to the 2 on the turn.

Suvarna tossed in a delayed continuation bet of 8,000 and only Mustafov stuck around for the 2 on the river. Suvarna fired out another 27,000 and Mustafov deliberated before folding.

Preflop War

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No Limit Holdem

Nobody was willing to give an inch as Bryce Yockey raised from the hijack to 3,000. Michael Kamran re-raised to 8,000 from the button; and sitting in the big blind, Alex Foxen raised again to 24,000.

Back around to Yockey who put in the five-bet to 55,000 which got the job done as both players folded.

Hunichen Bets Out Foxen

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Alex Foxen raised it up from middle position and Chris Hunichen defended from the big blind. The flop came QJ8 and Hunichen checked to Foxen who bet 4,000. Hunichen check-raised to 16,000 and Foxen called.

The turn brought the 9 and both players checked to the 8 on the river. Hunichen counted out a bet of 27,000 and Foxen eventually passed it up.

"Ace-four of diamonds?" Foxen inquired but got no response.

Two Bets from Duek

Level 5 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Elie Nakache raised it up from under the gun and was called by Michael Duek on the button and Sean Winter in the big blind. The flop fell J96 and the action checked to Duek who bet 3,500. Winter quickly folded but Nakache called to see the 2 on the turn.

Nakache checked again and Duek sized up a bet of 15,000. Nakache instantly mucked and Duek raked in the pot.

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Theuma Coolers Kalas

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

With just two cards in play for each player and a board reading AK86, there is no wonder the pot grew exponentially between Corel Theuma and Kane Kalas. Picking up the action on the turn, Theuma checked to Kalas who made a bet of 37,000 into a pot of around 60,000.

Theuma check-raised all in and Kalas didn't hesitate to call. Theuma showed 88 for a set of eights while Kalas was left with AK for two pair. The river was the 7 which changed nothing and Kalas was bounced to the rail.

Lonis Doubles

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was picked up on the turn as Jesse Lonis was all in versus Christopher Macfarland. The board read 965J.

Jesse Lonis: KQ87 All in
Christopher Macfarland: AA54

Unfortunately for Macfarland, he had zero outs, and he knew he would have to pay the ~130,000 over to Lonis who flopped a straight.
