Day 2 of Event #17: $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em begins at noon local time in the Horseshoe Event Center.
Out of the 1,692 players who registered, only 264 are returning to compete for their share of the $3,011,760 prize pool and the $436,044 first-place prize.
The remaining 264 players are scheduled to return on June 4 to battle through the bubble, which will burst at 254 players. Ernest Chevrette leads the field with 728,000 chips, followed by Austria’s Lukas Hafner with 722,000. However, all eyes will be on Jesse Lonis, who sits third in chips with 696,000. Lonis is having a career-defining year, earning $6,684,064 since the start of 2025, highlighted by two wins at the last Triton High Roller Series in Montenegro. Lonis is currently the top-ranked player in the Global Poker Index. Lonis was drafted by Team Girl Dads for $103 in the 25K Fantasy Draft and will be looking to earn points for his fantasy owners while aiming to add a third gold bracelet to his trophy case.
