Andreas Gross was all in and at risk against Jordyn Miller, with the cards on their backs.
Andreas Gross: A♦8♣
Jordyn Miller: 4♠4♦
Gross took the lead with a pair of aces on the 3♠Q♠A♥ flop, staying in front through the 10♠ turn. Miller then spiked the 7♠ river, making a flush to take down the hand and eliminate Gross.
Immediately after the bubble burst, Chander Jain received a nice double-up when Sebastian Crane moved all in from the cutoff with three shorter stacks behind him. Jain was in the big blind and made the call for 114,000.
Chander Jain: A♠Q♠
Sebastian Crane: 7♣6♥
While waiting for the board to come out, Jain queried, "What color are your aces?"
Crane replied in jest, "I have aces beat, if you have aces you are f******."
The board came out with 7♠8♥Q♠A♦10♣, and Jain received a nice, juicy double up.
Action was picked up with Bin Weng all in and at risk from middle position, facing Kou Vang in early position.
Bin Weng A♥Q♦
Kou Vang: J♥10♥
The dealer ran out a board of 9♠4♣7♣10♣8♣, giving Vang a straight and eliminating Weng on the bubble.
Marcos Skerl opened in early position and called off when Ankit Ahuja moved his last 79,000 into the middle on the button.
Ankit Ahuja: A♥K♠
Marcos Skerl: Q♣Q♥
Ahuja found help on the 7♠5♣A♣8♥9♥ board, making a pair of aces to crack Skerl's queens and earn the double.
Action was heads-up on a completed board: K♦7♠5♠2♣4♠. Vid Zagar, first to speak in the big blind, decided to go all in on the bubble.
Chino Rheem from the cutoff went into the tank with around 450,000 behind. Rheem looked straight at Zagar once more, but ultimately decided to fold. Zagar took the chips from the middle and showed his 3♠.
Norayr Menedyan raised and made the call when Song Wang moved all in from the hijack.
Song Wang: A♥A♦
Norayr Menedyan: A♠Q♠
Menedyan only found a single spade on the 5♠5♦2♥8♥K♥ runout, never challenging Wang's pocket aces on the direct bubble.
Chun Kit Kwan had been folding diligently before the bubble burst and moved all in from the button after a raise of 13,000 was made by Charles Ansanelli in early position. Ansanelli took some time to decide and eventually decided that the bet amount of 49,000 was worth the risk and called.
Chun Kit Kwan: A♦A♠
Charles Ansanelli: 5♠5♣
The board went well to the relief of Kwan with 6♦10♥9♣2♣6♣, and two pair for Kwan would save his tournament life.
