Every summer, a legend that the poker world hasn't seen in quite some time pops up at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). This year, that individual is Huck Seed, the 1996 world champion.

PokerNews caught up with the Poker Hall of Famer to find out why he's back in the game after nearly a decade away, and to see if he thinks he can hang with the new-school pros. Seed, prior to the interview, ran into and shared a wholesome embrace with his old pal and fellow poker legend Gus Hansen inside the Horseshoe Events Center. The two hadn't seen each other in a while.

Ricardo Martinez was in the cutoff, sitting with the big stack at the table, and raised to 30,000, and Darren Taylor was in the big blind and made the call. The flop was 9♦6♥4♦, and Taylor checked and Martinez placed the continuation bet in position for 30,000. Martinez made the call.

The turn Q♦ brought another check from Taylor and another bet from Martinez of 65,000.

Both players checked the 9♣ on the river, and Martinez was almost ready to muck until Taylor showed K♦J♣ for king high and Martinez rolled over A♠9♣ for ace high and the scoop of the pot.
