Shuofei Geng raised the button to 160,000 and Xiaohu Liu three-bet the small blind to 490,000. When it got back to Geng, he four-bet to 1,150,000, then Liu five-bet shoved for 3,815,000.
Geng thought for some time but eventually decided to fold, leaving Liu to take the pot without seeing the board.
Umesh Babusukumar made it 160,000 from middle positin and Shijia Liu called in the big blind.
On the A♥5♠9♦ flop, Liu checked and Babusukumar bet 110,000. Liu called to see the 5♣ turn, where both checked.
The river brought a K♠ and Liu decided to lead for 115,000. After around a minute, Babusukumar called.
Liu then showed 9♥6♠ for a pair of nines, but Babusukumar flipped J♣J♠ for a pair of jacks to take the pot.
Rafael Mota raised from early position to 160,000 and Jesse Lonis peeled from the big blind with a short stack.
Both tapped the table on the Q♥7♥6♥ flop and Lonis shoved 325,000 on the 4♦ turn. Mota called.

It was looking bleak for Lonis as Mota had a bigger pair and a flush draw. There was no miracle river for Lonis as the 4♣ rolled off, leaving him out in 15th.
Jesse Lonis made it 175,000 from under the gun and Rafael Mota called from middle position, Shuofei Geng also called from the big blind.
The trio went to a flop of K♦3♣3♥ where all checked to the 3♦ turn. Geng checked, Lonis bet 125,000, Mota called, and Geng got out of the way.
When the A♦ hit the river, Lonis bet 175,000 and after some thinking, Mota shoved. Lonis had around 650,000 behind and quickly folded, leaving him short-stacked.
Benjamin Williams raised in the small blind to 240,000 and got called by Ricardo Martinez in the big blind.
The dealer showed the flop of 5♦10♥10♠ and Williams bet 140,000, which Martinez decided to call to see the Q♥ turn. Both players checked to the river 8♦.
For the showdown, Williams decided to go all in. Martinez kissed his lucky charm and called for around 1,000,000.
Williams then showed Q♦7♣ for a pair of queens, and Martinez flipped J♣J♠ for a pair of jacks, which left him on the sidelines.
Benjamin Williams made it 160,000 to go from under the gun and Shijia Liu called from the big blind.
The flop came 9♦3♥3♣ and after Liu checked, Williams fired out 110,000. Liu then check-raised to 290,000, and Williams called.
Both tapped the table on the A♣ turn and Liu checked again when the 2♦ hit the river. Williams then bet 650,000, and Liu, with around 1,200,000 behind, made the fold.
Shuofei Geng raised from early position to 160,000, and Scott Bohlman called from the button. The flop came out with K♠Q♦Q♣, and Geng made an out-of-position continuation bet of 150,000. Bohlman called.
The turn 2♦ saw both players check.
The river was the gin card 6♠ for Geng, and he re-checked his cards and led out for 160,000. Bohlman made the call, but mucked when he saw Geng had 6♣6♥ for a full house.
Geng commented, "No raise on the river?" and chuckled.
Allen Shen limped in from the small blind and Quan Zhou checked his option in the big blind to see a flop of 7♣4♠K♦. Shen led for 80,000, Zhou made it 260,000, and Shen called.
A 9♥ on the turn saw Shen check, then Zhou kept the pressure on with a bet of 580,000. Shen quickly folded.
The action folded around to Pete Chen in the small blind, who shoved for around 850,000. Allen Shen was in the big blind and immediately called.

Chen was in trouble, but did find some chop outs as they both hit trips on the A♦A♥5♠ flop. A K♣ on the turn all but sealed the deal for Shen as he made top boat, with Chen searching for a king on the river to chop. Instead, the 2♥ rolled off, and Chen was out in 17th.
Brian Green, sitting on the button, moved all in for his last 1,760,000 chips, and Jesse Lonis snap-called from the big blind. As the cards hit the felt, Green offered an immediate apology—despite holding the inferior hand—adding with a grin, “The Universe wants me to win.”
So far, that mantra seemed to be working in his favor.
