Four Ways to the Flop; Garza is Saved
Zachary Hudson kicked things off by limping from the cutoff. Marcus Shepard limped behind from the button. Raul Garza called the small blind and Ashira Lavine checked the big blind, taking the players four ways to the flop.
The dealer placed the K♥3♦6♣ and Shepard checked. Lavine bet 1,600,000 which got three folds, leaving Lavine to pick up a small pot.
In the next hand, Raul Garza open-jammed for his remaining 700,000 stack. Lavine called the small blind for the minimum 1,200,000 blind and Sergei Petrushevskii checked the big blind.
The flop came 2♣Q♦2♠ and Lavine check-folded after Petrushevskii bet the flop, leaving Petrushevskii and Garza to go heads-up.
Raul Garza: Q♣8♣
Sergei Petrushevskii: Q♥10♠
Petrushevskii was head with the better kicker, but the J♣ turn saved Garza, and send them to a chop after seeing the 4♦ river.
A player commended "chop, saved by the deck" as Garza more than doubled his stack from the hand.
