Play has ended for Day 3 of the Event #19: $500 The COLOSSUS No-Limit Hold'em at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. The day started with 103 players, and just nine remain to battle it out for the bracelet and the top payout of $542,540 during the final table, which will require an extra day.

Ramaswamy Pyloore started the day chipping up early after getting a shove through his opponents during the first level of the day. He continued to battle it out, knocking out a number of people, including Riley Dieckhoff, after turning a straight; David "the Dragon" Pham, after again finding the improver on the turn, and finally rivering a straight to close the day.

Pyloore returns with around a quarter of the total chips in play heading into Day 4. He is not shy of WSOP final tables, as he made two of them during the 2024 WSOP online bracelet events.

Courtenay Williams is the only remaining player who started the day in the top ten. He stayed consistent throughout the day's play, but a key point came when he woke up with pocket Aces and held to bust Danny Olenjiczak, nearly doubling his stack with just 17 players remaining. Williams climbed further up the ranks after knocking out Tam Nguyen, as kings were good enough to see him through.

Bobby Poe fell just short of making it to the final table when he was caught up in a double elimination in the last hand of the day, which also saw Agustin Mendez bust in 10th place. Ramaswamy Pyloore ran away with this pot as well as many others during Day 3 as he was top of the counts for the majority of the afternoon.

Two 25K Fantasy Draft picks remain in the tournament, Matt Glantz and Ryan Leng. Leng came back from a near bust-out situation early in the day when he was left with less than one big blind, but managed to double his way out of it and find a place at the final table. Glantz also had a good run throughout the day and consistently found himself climbing in the counts; A particularly pivotal spot came later in the day when Jason Blodgett doubled him up.

Day 4 will begin on Tuesday, June 10, at 1.p.m. Play will resume in Level 44 with 19 minutes left on the clock with blinds of 2,500,000/5,000,000 and a 5,000,000 big blind ante. A 15-minute break will take place after every three levels, while details regarding a dinner break have yet to be confirmed. Play will continue until a winner is crowned.

PokerGO will stream the action on a one-hour delay, beginning at 2 p.m. PDT. PokerNews updates here will be delayed and posted in sync with the stream in order to avoid spoilers.

Stay tuned to PokerNews for coverage of the 2025 World Series of Poker, with updates from this and all bracelet events at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas.

Agustin Mendez Eliminated in 10th Place ($45,770); Bobby Poe Eliminated in 11th Place ($45,770)

Agustin Mendez

Bobby Poe was under the gun and moved all in for his remaining 16,000,000 stack. Agustin Mendez was next to act in the cutoff and rejammed for 17,800,000. Ramaswamy Pyloore was in the big blind and pondered before saying "why not" and moved a stack full of chips into the middle to make the call.

Bobby Poe: AQAll in
Agustin Mendez: 88All in
Ramaswamy Pyloore: 34

Mendez was initially ahead preflop but Poe picked up a pair of queens on the 6JQ flop.

The 7 was turned, which gave Pyloore a gutshot straight draw. He was calling for a "five, five" before the dealer peeled the last card.

A 5 came on the river, and Pyloore stole yet another pot and secured a double elimination in the last hand of the day.

Pyloore goes into the unscheduled Day 4 tomorrow as the clear chip lead, returning with around a quarter of the total chips in play.

Level 44 : Blinds 2,500,000/5,000,000, 5,000,000 ante

Antonio Trocoli Filho raised to 11,000,000 under the gun. Justin Gutierrez called in the big blind before the pair checked through the 7J4 flop. The turn fell the 4, on which Gutierrez checked again.

Filho fired 11,000,000, and Gutierrez jammed all in for 36,400,000. After a while in the tank, Filho elected to let his hand go, granting the pot to Gutierrez.
