The flop read 3♥10♥9♥, and both Anish Vithlani in the big blind and Sigrid Dencker in the middle position checked to see the J♥ on the turn.

Vithlani checked for Dencker to shove with the bigger stack. Vithlani contemplated his options and then made the call.

The rail gasped as Vithlani had turned a straight, but Dencker was sitting on the nut-flush.

The river completed the board with the J♣ as a formality as Vithlani was eliminated in 21st place.

Justin Gutierrez opened his button to 4,500,000. David Pham sat in the big blind and clicked it back to 10,500,000, which Gutierrez called after much deliberation.

Pham had left himself 5,300,000 back, which he tossed in as soon as the 8♠7♥10♠ flop fell. Gutierrez looked the three-time bracelet winner up, putting him at risk.

Pham had flopped top pair for a solid lead. The 7♦9♠ runout did not significantly alter the board, seeing Pham double up to nearly 20 big blinds.

Verbruggen was looking for help but the A♣10♣3♦ flop didn't bring much hope.

The 5♥ turn and the 6♣ river sealed his fate, and Verbruggen was eliminated in 20th place.

Matt Glantz open-jammed from under the gun for his remaining 21,900,000 stack. Sergei Petrushevskii was in the hijack and took some time before asking for a recount of Glantz's chips, as he was sitting with 21,800,000. After around two minutes, Petrushevskii made the call.

Petrushevskii was ahead pre-flop, and things stayed that way on the Q♠7♠9♠ flop.
