Welcome back to the PokerNews coverage of Event #20: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em SHOOTOUT at the 2025 World Series of Poker, held at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

Notable players who won their tables include 2016 WSOP Main Event winner Qui Nguyen, who will be at the same table as six-time bracelet winner Josh Arieh . The field is littered with other bracelet winners, including Eric Baldwin,Jason Wheeler, Yuri Dzivielevsky, Anthony Zinno, Nicholas Seward, Elie Nakache, Galen Hall,Ryan Laplante, Kevin Eyster and Andrew Brown.

Another name to watch out for in this tournament is Christian Roberts. He is also a bracelet winner back in 2023, and is making some noise early in the 2025 WSOP. He finished third in Event #3: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em, and also finished 14th in Event #11: $10,000 Mystery Bounty No-Limit Hold'em. As a player who also plays several varieties of the mixed games, a deep run in this tournament could see Roberts move into contention for WSOP Player of the Year.

Players will either start with 225,000 or 200,000 chips, depending on how many players were at their starting table. The blinds will begin at 2,000/4,000/4,000. The action resumes today at 1 p.m. local time in the Horseshoe Gold Section.

Of course, you can keep it locked to PokerNews for comprehensive coverage of the action today in this event, as well as every bracelet event at the 2025 WSOP.
