Brutal Turn Card for Firestone
Level 23
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
On a board reading J♠10♠Q♠Q♥3♣ Jordan Westmorland was the first to act player, and carved out a big bet of 450,000 into about 300,000 in the middle.
Eric Firestone, clearly unhappy with the spot he was in, deliberated about his decision for a good while, and asked Westmorland, "You tryna steal it from me?". He begrudgingly spun a 100,000 chip into the middle, and Westmorland instantly turned over A♠9♠ for the flopped nuts. Firestone looked at the Q♣ in his hand in disbelief, and turned over Q♣6♠ to also have the spade blocker.
It's a long way back for Firestone, who's now left with peanuts.
