Hubbard Gets Most of One Million-Chip Pot

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Tomasz Gluszko was all-in preflop, but the fireworks came after, as Renji Mao and Stephen Hubbard dug deep into their stacks with Mao betting his last 670,000 on the turn after calling more than 200,000 on the flop of 1095.

Stephen Hubbard: A432

Hubbard remarked before the cards were shown that surely he and Mao had the same low hand draw with ace-deuce. He was right. As for the high?

"I have nothing," Hubbard said.

Well, that was before the turn and river. The runout of 83 gave Hubbard a nut-nut hand with an ace-high flush.

Gluszko was out. And Mao was left pulling back a small portion of the chips he had pushed into the pot.
