Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop with three players in the hand, roughly 55,000 in the pot, and the board showing 10QJ. Pascal Leyo checked to Shaun Deeb, who bet out 16,000. The button quickly folded, and Leyo made the call.

Leyo checked to Deeb again after the 9 on the turn, and Deeb bet to put Leyo all in for his stack of 93,000, which Leyo quickly called.

Back From the Muck

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Scott Fitzhugh grabbed his backpack and tossed his hand in the muck, fully expecting to accept his payout.

But he was called back to the table by an observant opponent, who informed the dealer that Fitzhugh should take half the pot with the best low hand on a board of J64A3.

Scott Fitzhugh: A842All in
Ronnie Tate: 7543

Ronnie Tate had the high locked up with his straight to the seven. At first glance, Fitzhugh's low appeared to be counterfeited by pairing the ace and four, but his six-low was better than the seven-low Tate held.

Hole Spikes A Deuce to Double Up

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jon Kyte raised to 25,000 from under the gun, and when it folded to Andreas Hole in the cutoff, he three-bet all in for his stack of 59,000. It folded back to Kyte who flipped in a chip to make the call.

Andreas Hole: AK22 All in
Jon Kyte: AK74

Hole was in front with his deuces, and stayed in front after the 3JJ flop, but the K on the turn made a chop look likely, with both players holding ace-king. However, the river brought the 2 and Hole improved to a full house, deuces-full of jacks to secure the double up.

Bayer Doubles Through Obst

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Mathias Bayer opened the action from the hijack with a raise to 17,000, which was called by James Obst on the button, and the big blind Stephen Hubbard.

After the flop came K33 the action checked to Obst, who bet out 23,000. Hubbard quickly mucked, and Bayer made the call.

The turn brought the 8 and once Bayer checked, Obst bet out 70,000. Bayer gave it some thought, before moving all in for his stack of 203,000, and Obst made the call.

Mathias Bayer: AKK10 All in
James Obst: AJ63

Bayer flopped a full house and would need to fade a three or a card to give Obst a low to scoop the pot. The river brought the 8 and he did just that, giving the double up to Bayer with kings-full of eights.
