Hart Flushes Velador Out

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action was picked up on the 9QJA turn, with over 200,000 already in the pot. Luis Velador was in the big blind and bet 100,000, around half his stack, and Grant Hart put him all-in under the gun.

Velador made a quick call, but received bad news at the showdown.

Luis Velador: 9854 All in
Grant Hart: AA107

Hart had turned the higher flush, and with his straight flush out in Hart's hand, Velador was left drawing dead. The 4 river was rendered meaningless as Velador said his goodbyes and took his exit.

Claudio Elizalde: AK62 All in
Bodhen Suzuki: AK102

The board ran out A8498. Elizalde was good with a flush and six-deuce low to get a full double up at Suzuki's expense.

Mantel Cracks Johnson's Aces to Double

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Marco Johnson raised to 42,000 under the gun. Ariel Mantel then three-bet to 130,000, after which Johnson moved all in. Mantel quickly called off his 307,000 total chips, revealing the cards.

Ariel Mantel: AK102 All in
Marco Johnson: AAJ10

Mantel made two pair on the 872K3 runout, and with Johnson's hand unable to make a low, Mantel was awarded a full double-up.

Bryce Yockey

Bryce Yockey continued his up-and-down day, calling John Reading's all-in bet preflop from the big blind.

John Reading: K1053All in
Bryce Yockey: A765

The runout of 2KJ5A gave Yockey a better two pair for the high end, and since Reading didn't have a qualified low, he scooped the pot.

Yockey entered Day 2 fifth in chips, but has struggled to get traction thus far.

Delmundo and Rawtani Chop Up Tzimas

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Konstantinos Tzimas opened to 25,000 from under the gun, Nitesh Rawtani called from the cutoff and Jonathan Delmundo called from the big blind.

The flop came A78 and Tzimas bet 100,000. Rawtani called and Delmundo moved all in for 124,000. Tzimas called and Rawtani called.

Tzimas shoved on the 9 turn and Rawtani, who had Tzimas covered, called.

Jonathan Delmundo: 10987 All in
Konstantinos Tzimas: AA35 All in
Nitesh Rawtani: 8432

Delmundo had two pair and a straight draw. Tzimas had top set and Rawtani had a pair and the nut-low draw. The 6 river gave Delmundo a straight to take the high for the main pot. Rawtani had the nut-low and Tzimas took high from the considerably smaller side pot.

Tzimas was left short-stacked following the hand and busted shortly afterwards.

Daniels Gets a Massive Double Through Forrest

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Filippos Stavrakis limped in from middle position and William Forrest limped behind from the hijack. Shane Daniels three-bet to 55,000 and only Forrest called.

The flop came 264 and Forrest checked. Daniels bet 50,000, Forrest check-raised to 295,000 and Daniels shoved for 338,000. Forrest called with a covering stack to put Daniels at risk.

Shane Daniels: A1053 All in
William Forrest: AQ32

Both players had the nut-low. Daniels had a six-high straight for the high while Forrest had bottom pair and a flush draw. The 3 turn counterfeited Forrest's low and the 9 river was a brick. Daniel was good for both halves at showdown with an ace-five low and six-high straight to scoop a colossal pot at Forrest's expense.

Nogueira Fills Up and Doubles Up

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop, with the board showing 10AJ and Rafael Nogueira all in for 101,000, and Ariel Mantel putting him at risk.

Rafael Nogueira: A8105 All in
Ariel Mantel: A983

Nogueira was in front with his two pair but would need to fade the open-ended straight draw of Mantel. The 3 on the turn gave Mantel more outs, but the A on the river gave both players a full house, with Nogueira holding a bigger full house, aces full of tens to secure the double up.
