On the river, Wong thought for around two minutes before he fired 2,100,000, leaving himself a chip behind. Stranak snap-called.

Xixiang Luo fired out 300,000 on the flop and Brian Smith called on the button. When the turn hit, Luo kept the pressure on with another bet of 675,000, and again Smith called.
On the river, Luo announced pot for a sizing of 2,700,000, and Smith started to give the speech play.
"You got some good rivers today. I'm good at flopping, but nothing materializes,". said Smith.
"But of course, you have no idea what I'm saying , do you?" asked Smith, who eventually folded.

Action checked to Klein on the river who announced "all in" for 1,400,000, Smith folded. Wong also decided to move all in, Luo snap folded. Klein tabled K♣Q♦J♠10♦ for a straight on the bottom and Wong tabled A♦8♥5♦2♠ for two pair on the top board. Klein said from across the table "good for the shorties".

The turns and rivers were both checked through and Smith said, "They were bad runouts for my hand,", before he showed J♠10♠9♠5♥ for a straight on top and two pair on bottom.
Stranak looked at his cards for a while before he said, "Nope, they were good runouts for you,", before he mucked.

Smith checked again on the river, Stranak decided to 800,000 and Smith picked up his cards and exposed J♣9♣ and folded. Stranak exposed the 9♦ with the 5♠2♠.

Smith had flopped a flush draw on the top along with the nuts on the bottom, and improved to a flush on the top turn. The rivers changed nothing and Smith scooped a monster pot to send Verbakel out in sixth.
