Rheem completed again on the next hand but faced some aggression from Matusow, who raised. Rheem called.

Rheem called a bet on fourth street before fifth street checked through. Rheem, now with open tens, bet and Matusow folded, flashing his JJ hole cards.

"It's your day Chino," bemoaned Matusow, who's down to his last two big bets.

Eskandani led on fourth and both opponents called. He led again on fifth and only Rheem called.

Rheem called another bet on sixth before Eskandani checked dark on seventh. Rheem checked back as Eskandani annunced his flush that he made on seventh to win another pot.

"I should have folded on fifth," lamented Rheem in the post-mortem. Rheem had just won a sizeable pot against Adam Friedman with a straight as he remains as the biggest stack.

Eskandani called on fourth and led out after making open deuces on fifth street. Friedman called and did the same on sixth street.

On seventh street, Eskandani checked in the dark, and Friedman fired out a bet. Eskandani raised and was quickly called.

The Hall of Famer had three aces as his downcards to give him a very hidden aces full of deuces, which of course, was good to scoop in the pot.

Rheem fired a final bet on seventh. Volpe would contmeplate his decision for over a minute before he folded, Rheem showed his two pair as Volpe made the correct fold on seventh to save a bet.

With mostly low cards showing and a nine the highest upcard, Chino Rheem called before Adam Friedman completed. Mike Matusow then raised, and short stack Dave Rogers three-bet. Rheem got out of the way, but both Friedman and Matusow called.

Rogers led the betting from fourth through sixth street, committing his final 27,000 on sixth. Friedman raised, and Matusow called to see seventh.

On the final street, Friedman checked without looking at his third downcard, and Matusow checked behind.

Friedman tabled a flush, which bested Rogers' (ace-high) and Matusow's (king-high) straights. This marked Roger's elimination in ninth place, and he exited to Horseshoe to collect his $27,528 prize.

Full Seat Redraw Needed on Day 2 in WSOP High Roller After 72 Max Late Register

Mass max late registration in a 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) event on Sunday forced tournament staff to redraw seats for the entire field on Day 2.

Event #26: $25,000 High Roller, not to be confused with the $25,000 High-Roller 6-Max that ended on Saturday, had 300 entries through Day 1. But registration remained open for one full level on the tournament's second session.

Eskandani check-called bets on fifth and sixth before Xu tossed out a final bet on seventh. Eskandani would think it over for almost a minute before he flicked in the call for the majority of his remaining chips. Xu could only show king high as Eskandani's pair of queens were good at showdown.
