Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

With around 200,000 in the pot on a board of 982A, Manuel Fritz checked from early position before Alex Foxen knuckled back from the hijack.

The 4 rolled off on the river and Fritz checked. Foxen carved out a bet of 110,000, which prompted an instant fold from Fritz.

The very next hand, Fritz opened to 8,000 from under the gun and Foxen three-bet to around 25,000 from the next seat. Fritz folded, and Foxen won two in a row from Fritz.

Seidel at the Table of Doom

Level 5 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Daniel Lee moved all in from the cutoff for his last 17,000 and got calls from Erik Seidel on the button and Yunkyu Song in the small blind.

Both Seidel and Song checked down the 658 flop, 6 turn, and 4 river. Daniel Lee thought he might have won with his A9, for ace-high until Song tabled 33 for a pair. Seidel held KJ. Lee was sent to the rail.

In the very next hand at the same table Randal Heeb raised from under the gun to 9,000 only for Jiaxin Sun to three-bet all in to 33,000 from the small blind. Tyler Montoya flat called from the big blind and then Heeb four-bet to 75,000. Montoya then came back over the top and five-bet jammed for 203,000, Heeb called and he had all players covered.

Tyler Montoya: KKAll in
Randal Heeb: AK

The flop came 4102 and when the 8 fell on the turn Heeb was left drawing to an ace to eliminate two players. The 2 brick came on the turn and Montoya scooped a monster pot and sent Sun packing whilst leaving Heeb running on fumes.

Mamad Arani made it 8,000 to go from middle position before Wesley Fei three-bet to 26,000 from the cutoff. Dario Sammartino four-bet to 56,000 on the button, prompting a fold from Arani. Fei five-bet jammed for 164,000, and Sammartino called after getting an exact count from the dealer.

Upon seeing the cards, Fei commented to Sammartino and the table, "That's a fold", indicating to that Sammartino should have folded his pocket tens.

The board ran out 464K3 keeping Fei's jacks ahead, and he doubled up through Sammartino.

While collecting his newly earned chips, Fei again mentioned to Sammartino that he should have folded, to which Sammartino remained silent and just smiled.
