Sincere Narrowly Avoids Disaster

Level 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Igor Zektser opened to 500,000 from the hijack and Paul Sincere defended from the big blind.

The flop came 723 and Sincere bet 1,475,000. Zektser announced pot and Sincere snap-called, nearly tabling his hand before Ryan Hoenig pointed out that they were not all-in and Sincere still had around 500,000 behind.

On the A turn Sincere quickly got his last chips in the middle and Zektser called to put him at risk.

Paul Sincere: AK962
Igor Zektser: AKK43

Sincere had the nut-flush draw and an ace-six low draw but Zektser was a big favorite to scoop with the nut-low draw and an overpair. The 4 river gave Sincere the best low.

"Wow. How bad am I running? I'm scoopung until that four on the river" Zektser commented as the pot was split.
