David Forbes raised to 600 from under the gun, Joseph Lee three-bet to 1,500, and Forbes made the call.

The players saw a Q♣3♦9♣ flop, Forbes led out for 2,70,0, and Lee made the call.

Action checked through on the 7♥ turn and 4♥ river card. Lee tabled K♣9♠, which was superior to Forbes K♠7♠. Forbes commented that he was glad that a King didn't peel off.

Anderson Among Big Stacks Early on

Evan Benton raised 500 from the cutoff and was called by Logan Anderson in the small blind and a player in the big blind. The dealer spread a flop of 7♦10♥8♠. Action checked to Benton, who bet 900. Anderson called, and the big blind folded.

The turn was the 2♦ Anderson led out for 2,000, Benton then raised to 6,500, and Anderson made the call.

The river was the K♥. Anderson checked, Benton bet 14,000, and Anderson made the call. Benton told Anderson, "You win," which was welcome news to Anderson as he tabled 8♦7♥ good for two pair and a nice-sized pot.

Anderson is one of the bigger stacks in the Pairs Yellow section in the early goings of Event #29.

Yen-Tuan Chen raised to 400 from early position, and Rafael Reis three-bet to 1,600 from the cutoff, and everyone else moved out of the way. Chen made the call. The flop arrived with 9♥6♠K♥, and Chen checked and Reis put out the continuation bet of 1,000 and received a call.

Both players checked the turn J♦ and on the river 5♦ Chen checked again and Reis bet out 2,800. Chen pulled the check-raise for his last 20,100. Reis took some time and then called.

Rafael Reis: XxXx

Reis stated, "I just paid to see your cards. I wanted to see what you are raising."

Chen won with top pair, and Reis mucked his cards.

Sundheim was sitting with a full house, and Corsi had the second-best hand with the flush. The dealer stated, "Make sure you tell them that it was at 'Weird Al' Yankovic's Table". The dealer looks like a younger version of the comedic musician.

Son of Poker Hall of Famer Phil Hellmuth Jr., Phil Hellmuth III was involved in a blind vs. blind battle. Maxwell Young limped from the small blind, and Hellmuth checked his option.

Young checked to Hellmuth on a 5♣3♦8♥ flop, Hellmuth wagered 800 and was called by young.

The turn brought the J♣. Young checked again, this time Hellmuth bet 1,500, which was good enough to get a fold from Young. Hellmuth has doubled his starting stack and hopes to follow in his father's footsteps and win a gold bracelet this summer.
