Wang Values on Himself; Livschitz Has a Big Stack

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a flop of 97A, there were around 15,000 chips in the pot when Yang Wang checked from middle position and Andrew Kim fired 6,000 from the cutoff. Wang called.

A 10 on the turn went check-check and Wang bet 15,500 on the 5 river, leaving himself around 12,000 behind. Kim mulled it over for around 20 seconds before he elected to call.

Wang then showed Q10 for a pair of tens, but Kim held A6 for a pair of aces to scoop the pot.

On another table, Victoria Livschitz is flying with around 400,000!

Laskowitz Gets Richer as Ngo Departs

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Hieu Ngo three-bet shoved around ten big blinds after Samuel Laskowitz opened, and was quickly put at risk.

Hieu Ngo: KJ All in
Samuel Laskowitz: QQ

Ngo was staring elimination in the face and didn't find much to work with on the 5510 flop. An A on the turn gave him a useless gutshot to Broadway, and the 4 river meant he was eliminated.

Marko Grujic
Marko Grujic

Marko Grujic once had a very healthy stack in the tournament but just saw his chip balance tumble some more after a hand with Shiva Dudani.

The action was picked up on a flop of 36Q with around 35,000 in the middle and Dudani fired out 11,000 from the big blind. Grujic called from the hijack to see the 6 turn, where both checked.

A K on the river saw Dudani count out a bet of 45,000 and slide it into the pot, which drew a snap-fold out of Grujic.
