Game of Chicken

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There were roughly 20,000 in the pot on a board of 5103 and Anthony Hu bet 6,000 from the big blind but got quickly raised by Venkat Chivukula in early position to 14,500.

Hu asked Chivukula "what do you have behind?" and announced "all in" once he got the stack amount confirmed.

Chivukula shook his head in frustration then folded.

Stoyanov Piles on the Pressure

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With 16,000 chips in the middle, Radoslav Stoyanov and Justin Zaki were looking at a Q23 7 board.

Zaki bet 10,000 before seeing Stoyanov slide a tower of chips into the middle, putting Zaki all in.

Zaki took a little bit of time before deciding to fold.

Hunichen's River Shove Gets Through Vargas

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With around 7,000 in the middle on a 6J8 flop, both Daniel Vargas and Chris Hunichen put in 4,500 to see the 5 turn, where Vargas checked from the hijack.

Hunichen then bet 11,700 on the button, and after counting out his stack, Vargas called.

A 7 completed the board and once Vargas checked it over, Hunichen quickly moved all in for around 35,000. Vargas just as quickly folded, allowing Hunichen to scoop in the pot.

Stausholm Flops a Straight

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With around 8,000 in the pot on an 8J1010 board, Martin Stausholm fired out 7,400 from the big blind and Ernest Bush called on the button.

A Q hit the river and after Stausholm checked, Bush decided to check it back.

Stausholm then showed a straight with Q9, and Bush mucked his cards.

Andrew Ostapchenko, Allison Stoloff and Samuel Laskowitz went three ways to a flop of A34 with roughly 5,500 chips in the middle.

Ostapchenko checked in the small blind, allowing Stoloff the opportunity to bet 2,200. Laskowitz folded the button before Ostapchenko called.

Ostapchenko elected to lead out for 3,000 on the 5 turn, Stoloff hung around to see the river.

Another bet of 5,000 on the 9 river by Ostapchenko was enough to see Stoloff relinquish her hand.

To Fire, or not to Fire

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Timothy Reilly opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 1,200. On his immediate left, was Matthew Mcewan sitting on the button, who elected that raising the price to 4,200 was his best option.

Heads up to a flop of J44 with roughly 9,500 in the middle. Reilly checked and quickly put out a bet of 6,500. Reilly obliged.

A 6 fell on the turn. After another check from Reilly, Mcewan entered the tank weighing his options. Eventually though, he landed on check.

After the 10 peeled off on the river, Reilly sent out a bet of 5,500. Mcewan mucked his hand instantly.
