Claassen Folds to Kihara After Lengthy Tank

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 800 ante

Christopher Claassen raised to 1,300 from the small blind and Naoya Kihara three-bet to 4,500 from the big blind. Claassen called.

Both players took one off and then Claassen led out for 6,000. Kihara responded with a raise to 28,000 and Claassen went deep into the tank.

Eventually, the clock was called on Claassen and he folded shortly after being given 30 seconds to act.

Bellande Four-Bets With a Jack

Pedro Bromfman raised to 1,500 under the gun and Philip Sternheimer called on the button. David Lin then three-bet to 5,500 in the small blind and Jean-Robert Bellande put in a four-bet to 13,000 from the big blind.

Bromfman and Sternheimer folded, while Lin called and drew one. Bellande stood pat and both players checked, Bellande showing Jx8x6x5x3x to win the pot.

Joshua Faris opened to 2,000 and was three-bet to 7,500 by Hal Rotholz from directly behind. It was folded back to Faris, who called.

Both players drew one and then Faris checked to Rotholz, who bet 16,000. Faris snap-called and Rotholz showed 9x7x5x3x3x for a pair.

Faris revealed 10x9x6x4x2x and was awarded the pot.

Negreanu Doesn't Last Long, Quickly Fires Again

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 900 ante

Daniel Negreanu had just taken his seat in the tournament when he went heads-up against Jonathan Krela with around 20,000 already in the pot.

Krela bet 13,000 from middle position and Negreanu moved all in for 51,100. Krela took a minute before calling to put Negreanu at risk.

"Pair of deuces," Negreanu announced, and Krela showed 9x6x5x4x3x to win the pot and send Negreanu to the rail.

"Alright, kill me so I can rebuy," Negreanu told the dealer, not even bothering to get up from his seat.

Park and Buchalter drew one and Papastavrou stood pat.

It was then checked to Papastavrou, who bet 5,000. Park folded and Buchalter called after a bit of contemplation.

Papastavrou showed 9x7x6x4x2x and Buchalter sent his hand into the muck.

At another table, 2013 Main Event Champ Ryan Riess was eliminated.

Livingston and Bonyadi drew one while Jansen took one off.

Action then checked to Bonyadi, who bet 6,500. Livingston called and Jansen let his hand go and Bonyadi fanned out 9x8x5x4x3x.

Livingston couldn't beat it and mucked — conceding the pot the Bonyadi.

"No good," Turner said and he tabled 7x6x5x3x2x. Chambers sent his hand into the muck upon seeing it and Turner added to his stack.

Rotholz Pairs Up to Fall to Kornuth
