Event #30: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw Championship has already smashed records, but it could get a lot bigger once Day 2 begins at 1 p.m. local time.
This event was first added to the World Series of Poker schedule in 2008 and had never had quite a day like yesterday. A total of 189 players have already taken their shot at the bracelet, exceeding the tournament record with late registration still open for the first level. Players are allowed two reentries, and with new and returning players, the field should cross 200 players for the first time.
Six-time bracelet winner Nick Schulman leads the 79 returning players for Day 2 with 322,500. A star-studded field sits right behind him, highlighted by defending champion Scott Seiver (304,000) and Alex Foxen (300,500). Bradley Jansen (293,500) and Darren Elias (287,500) round out the top five, while Dan Smith (276,500) and Daniel Negreanu (273,500) also sit inside the top 10 to begin the day.

The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 11 with blinds of 1,500/3,000 and a 4,500 big blind ante. Anyone who registers at this point starts with their initial 60,000 stack worth 20 big blinds. Levels will continue to be 60 minutes through Level 15 and will then be extended to 90 minutes beginning on Level 16 for the duration of the tournament. The plan is to play down to the final five players today.
