Around 30,000 was in the pot as four players went to the draw. Action then checked around to Brian Breck and he bet 17,000 from the button.
Pedro Bromfman called under the gun, while Hye Park and Yehuda Buchalter both folded. Bromfman showed Qx8x7x5x4x and Breck also flashed a queen as he mucked, shooting up from his seat and walking away from the table for a moment while the pot was pushed to Bromfman.
James Obst in the hijack and Jen Harman on the button went on a preflop raising war until both players had all their chips in the middle.
Both players stood pat and Obst showed 7x5x4x3x2x for a wheel. Harman flashed a 7-6 as she mucked. The stacks were counted down and Obst had 70,000 remaining. He barely had Harman covered, and Harman pushed the rest of her stack over to Obst as she made her exit.
Jonathan Park opened to 1,500 from under the gun and was three-bet to 6,200 by Philip Sternheimer, who was on the button. Action folded back to Park, who four-bet to 15,000.
Undeterred, Sternheimer announced he was all in and Park quickly let his hand go to award Sternheimer the pot.
Hal Rotholz was all in for 23,000 from the hijack as Chance Kornuth put him at risk in the big blind.
Kornuth stood pat and turned over 8x7x4x3x2x, while Rotholz drew one holding 8x7x4x3x. Rotholz peeled another 8x to make a pair as Kornuth secured the pot to send Rotholz to the rail.
While Rotholz was making his exit, Phil Ivey was jumping into the field.
