Vieira became the 71% favorite to win the pot despite not connecting with the J102 flop. Vieira, with an open-ended straight flush draw to go along with his overcards, had 21 outs twice.

The 4 turn and 3 river kept Blom's middling pair as the best hand and Vieira departed in 14th place.

Sean Winter was out of his seat, observing the other table while the deal got underway. He just made it back to his seat in time to play his hand and opened to 280,000 from under the gun. The action folded to Jason Koon in the big blind, who three-bet to 1,200,000.

Winter, who had around 4,500,000, said, "Everything but 5,000." Koon jammed, and Winter put in his last chip.

"Why did you have to give it to me," bemoaned Winter as his kings couldn't improve on the J8576 runout.
