Jason Koon needed a quick bathroom break and opted to use a time bank from early position as the table agreed to slow the action.
Thirty seconds later, Koon's hand was killed and Mathew Frankland took some time before opening to 60,000. The rest of the table took their time folding and Koon made it back just as the blinds were folding.
"Best use of a time bank in my career!" Koon said.
On a board of A♦J♠8♣4♠, David Peters and Alexandre Reard each committed 300,000 apiece on the turn. The river was the 9♠ and Peters started with a check. Reard pushed out a bet of 775,000 and Peters dipped into the tank.
After burning through three time banks, Peters flicked in a chip to call. Reard turned over 10♠6♠ for a flush and Peters was forced to count out a healthy portion of his stack.
Dominykas Mikolaitis opened to 70,000 from early position and called when Bryn Kenney moved all in for around 165,000 from the big blind.

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 60,000 second to act before Alexandros Theologis jammed for 605,000 from the button. Leon Sturm called off his stack of 335,000 from the small blind and Badziakouski also committed the last of his stack, which was around 340,000.

Sturm paired up to take the lead on the Q♦7♠2♠ flop and remained in front following the 7♥ turn. However, the 10♣ river gave Theologis the two-outer he needed to lock up the pot and double knockout.
David Peters opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Gregory Jensen three-bet jammed a stack of around 350,000 from late position. Peters called.

Brock Wilson raised to 60,000 in the hijack and Justin Zaki called from the big blind. The flop came K♠7♠6♥ and Zaki check-raised all in for around 250,000. Wilson snapped him off and the cards were face up.

Zaki flopped a pair of sevens but Wilson had two pair, leaving Zaki in rough shape. The 3♠ on the turn left Zaki drawing dead to the 2♥ on the river.
Zdenek Zizka opened to 60,000 in the hijack and Brandon Wittmeyer and Joey Weissman called in the blinds.
Wittmeyer and Weissman checked on the flop of A♣3♥4♣ and Zizka continued for 70,000. Wittmeyer check-jammed a stack of around 230,000 and Weissman folded before Zizka called.

Wittmeyer had the better kicker and nothing changed on the runout of 8♠7♦ to earn him a double.
Roberto Romanello opened to 50,000 from early position and was called by Brock Wilson from the big blind. Wilson quickly folded to a bet of 35,000 on the J♣9♠3♥ flop.
Justin Zaki and Brandon Wilson have also been eliminated.
Aleksejs Ponakovs opened to 50,000 from the cutoff before Alexandre Reard three-bet to 150,000 from the button. Gregory Jensen went into the tank from the big blind, using four time banks before folding. Ponakovs called when the action was back on him.
The 5♠5♦3♦ flop checked through to the J♣ turn and Ponakovs led out for 190,000. Reard used a time bank before making it 400,000. Ponakovs folded.
On the next deal, David Peters opened to 50,000 and called when Charles Hook jammed for 400,000 from the cutoff.

Hook went with the suited connectors and paired his seven on the Q♣7♠3♥ flop. However, the 5♦ turn and Q♦ river kept Peters ahead and Hook was eliminated.
