After arriving at the table, three players had all of their chips in the middle preflop and none of them had a pair. Philip Sternheimer was the short stack with around 190,000, Aliaksei Boika was next in line at risk for 572,000, and Orpen Kisacikoglu had both players covered.

Vieira Shows a Semi-Bluff

Level 10 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jack Roser raised it up from the hijack and Joao Vieira three-bet on the button. Roser countered with a four-bet to 240,000 and Vieira just called. The flop came KJ5 and Roser slid out a bet of 300,000. Vieira called and the 8 rolled off on the turn.

Roser checked this time and Vieira announced all in, putting Roser to the test for his remaining stack of just under 500,000. Roser thought for a few seconds but then decided to fold.

Roser asked Vieira if he would show and he obliged by flashing Q10 for a straight flush draw.

Oliver Weis opened to 40,000 from the cutoff and Laszlo Bujtas called from the button. David Peters then three-bet to 140,000 from the small blind, with Weis being the only caller.

Peters tabled AA and Weis frustratingly mucked his hand.

"Well played David," said Martin Kabrhel. "I put you on aces."

"David, can you do me a favour today please? Can you be quiet?" Kabrhel rounded out.

Suvarna Folds Out Gierse; Perry Gets Jammed On

Level 9 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Santhosh Suvarna opened to 35,000 from under the gun and called when Marius Gierse three-bet to 100,000 from the hijack.

Suvarna check-called for 60,000 on the J62 flop before the 3 turn checked through on the 7 river. Suvarna led out for 90,000, which pushed out Gierse.

On another table, Sean Perry was in the blender, and faced a decision for his tournament life.

With around 190,000 in the pot, on the 5532 board, Triple Crown winner Roberto Romanello used up a time bank before betting enough T-25,000 chips to put Perry at risk for his last 255,000.

After some time in the tank, Perry conceded the pot to the Welshman.
