Hacker Spikes the Turn to Double Through Bojang

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ismael Bojang opened to 2,500 under the gun before Brian Hacker potted to 9,000 from the hijack, and Bojang called.

On the J32 flop, Bojang led and Hacker called all-in for 18,600.

Bojang hopped into the lead with two pairr but Hacker had the nut low draw. However, the A landed on the turn to give Hacker trips and he held through the 9 river to scoop as he doubled

Xu Shows Lindgren He Made the Right Fold

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jonathan Lewis raised to 3,000 from the cutoff with Erick Lindgren calling out of the small blind, and Qiang Xu defending his big blind.

Lindgren led out for 5,000 on the 69Q flop. Xu and Lewis called to see the A appear on the turn. Lindgren now checked, and Xu bet the pot for roughly 22,000. Lewis quickly folded, but Lindgren thought it over for a few moments before also folding.

As the pot was pushed to Xu, he was kind enough to show QQXxXx for a set of queens on the flop.

Ruben Wins a Little Back from Peppin

On a flop of AK4, Brad Ruben checked from middle position, Stephen Peppin checked from the hijack, and Delmiro Toledo checked from the button.

Three players saw the 10 drop on the turn. Ruben fired out a bet of 4,500, which only Peppin called.

The 4 came on the river and Ruben bet 6,000. Peppin let go of his hand and Ruben dragged in the pot.

Gerhart Doubles Through Zhou

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ali Abduljabbar limped under the gun, Kevin Gerhart potted to 4,500 from the hijack, Quan Zhou called in the cutoff, and Abduljabbar called.

On the 932 flop, the action checked to Zhou who bet 14,000. Abduljabbar folded before Gerhart check-jammed for 59,200 and Zhou called.

Kevin Gerhart: AA105 All in
Quan Zhou: AK72

Zhou had bottom pair, the nut flush draw, and a weak low draw against the aces of Gerhart, who had a better low draw. The board ran out 84 as Gerhart improved to a wheel to get the full double.

Three players saw the flop come down 58Q. Dan Heimiller checked from the big blind and Bruno Furth bet 5,000 from under the gun. Jesse Lonis called from middle position, but Heimiller folded.

Furth slowed down and checked the 9 turn, prompting Lonis to bet 15,400. Furth called.

The A appeared on the river and Furth bet roughly 50,000. Lonis thought briefly, before folding and surrendering the pot to Furth.

Shak Hits the Rebuy Desk

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Zachary Reinbold opened to 2,000 from the hijack before Dan Shak potted from the button to 7,500. Reinbold repotted and Shak called all-in for around 14,000.

Both held premium holdings with Reinbold the favorite. Niether player improved on the K75 flop. The 9 turn gave Shak some two-pair outs but the 7 completed the board as he was eliminated.

Shak was seated again at a new table within two minutes.

Newberry Showers Ding

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Catching the action on the turn with the board reading J582. Biao Ding bet around 18,000 from middle position and James Newberry called from the cutoff.

The 4 rolled off on the river and Ding checked, Newberry jammed for Ding's stack of around 25,000. Ding called and Newberry revealed a wheel with A1093 to scoop the pot and bust Ding, who had JJ53 for a set of jacks, and a worse low.

Poker-Playing Pirate Allegedly Stabbed Man, Solicited and Ran Over Woman

Scotter Clark, a poker player who often dressed in full pirate costume at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), was arrested Monday in Oklahoma for allegedly soliciting a woman and stabbing a man who confronted him.

Clark was booked in the Tulsa Municipal Jail and charged with two felony counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. The incident isn't the first time he's run into some legal trouble.
