Theuma Versus Rapaski Part II as Theuma Goes From Hero to Zero

After being the chip-leader for much of the day, Corel Theuma found himself on a slim stack.

Maxx Hoffman potted to 2,100 under the gun before Theuma repotted from the cutoff to 7,200. Ryan Rapaski then repotted from the button and Hoffman got out of the way before Theuma called all-in for 13,100.

The 643 flop gave Rapaski the nut low and a pair of fours. Theuma found no help on the 87 runout as fours held for the high and Rapaski sent Theuma to the rail.

Wilkerson Folds to Obst's River Bet

Catching the action in a three-way pot on a flop of AJ8. Dylan Wilkerson checked from middle position before James Obst bet 3,500 from the button. Only Wilkerson called.

The 6 appeared on the turn and Wilkerson check-called a bet of 8,500 from Obst.

After Wilkerson checked the 6 river, Obst bet 29,400, causing Wilkerson to go into the tank. After around a minute, Wilkerson folded and surrendered the pot to Obst.

The board ran out 26479 to give Fujimoto a backdoor two pair to win the high with a seven-six low. Ahem couldn't beat Fujimoto's high, but he did have the same low, meaning Fujimoto got three-quaters on the pot.

Aces Versus Aces as Rapaski Prevails

A raising war broke out preflop between Corel Theuma from the cutoff and Ryan Rapaski from the button that resulted in Rapaski being all-in and at risk for 44,100.

Both had aces with Theuma having the better low potential. The 885 flop paired Theuma before the 7 turn gave Rapaski the low. Then, the 9 landed on the river to give Rapaski the ten-high straight as he scooped off Theuma, who had been smooth sailing all day as one of the largest stacks in the room until this hand.

Four players saw the dealer spread out a flop of 328. After two checks, David Benyamine bet 1,500 from early position and only Gary Benson called from the cutoff.

Benyamine opted to check the 4 turn, prompting Benson to bet 6,000. Benyamine carved out the call.

The K on the river went check-check and Benyamine revealed AJ65 for a wheel to scoop the pot.

Breck Quarters Glaser after Fireworks Erupt on the Flop

Action was picked up three-ways to a A73 flop in a hand between Rick Aasen from the hijack, Brian Breck from the cutoff, and Benny Glaser from the button with around 10,000 in the middle.

Aasen led for 5,600, Breck raised pot from the cutoff, Glaser repotted, Aasen folded, and Breck called all-in for 60,400.

Both players had the same nut low and wheel wrap. Breck was free-rolling his flush draw until the A turn gave Glaser outs for three-quarters as well. However, the 9 completed the board as Breck made his flush to win three quarters from Glaser.

Kyte bet 3,000 on the 9K4 flop and was met by a raise to 7,500 from Obst. Kyte made the call.

Both players checked the 3 turn to see the 2 appear on the river. Kyte bet the pot, which Obst called.

Kyte revealed AQ72 for just a pair of deuces with a seven-four low. Obst turned over AJ62 for the same high, but with a six-four low, meaning Obst won three-quarters of the pot.

Ivanov bet again upon seeing the 9 appear on the turn. After a brief pause, Le called.

The river came the Q and Ivanov jammed for his last 35,300. Le gave it some thought, but ultimately settled on a fold.
