Jonathan Greene Eliminated in 10th Place ($43,228)

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jonathan Greene
Jonathan Greene

Jonathan Greene limped the small blind, Bruno Furth potted to 180,000 from the big blind, then Greene went into the tank. Two minutes would pass before he repotted to 540,000, Furth raised, and Greene called all-in for 730,000.

Jonathan Greene: AA96 All in
Bruno Furth: AKJ2

Both players woke up with premiums blind-on-blind as the 1095 flop came down, giving no help to Furth. The 4 turn kept Greene in the lead for the high as Furth picked up a low draw. However, the Q would roll off on the river to give Furth a straight as Greene was eliminated on the final table bubble.

Spivack Survives

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Sam Soverel raised the button to 175,000 and Edward Jackson Spivack called for his last 160,000 out of the big blind.

Edward Jackson Spivack: 9733 All in
Sam Soverel: AQ108

If Spivack were to lose, the remaining nine players would be at the final table. However, the runout of 69863 meant Spivack doubled up with full house.

Sternheimer Stays Active

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Philip Sternheimer raised to 150,000 in the hijack and Magnus Edengren called in the cutoff.

The flop came J103 and Sternheimer bet 225,000. Edengren called and they checked down the 6 turn and J river. Edengren then showed A1092 to win the pot with two pair.

Sam Soverel then limped from the cutoff and Sternheimer raised to 210,000 in the big blind. Soverel called to the A75 flop, where Sternheimer continued for 250,000. "That's quite a flop right there," Soverel said as he mucked.

The next hand, Dennis Weiss opened to 130,000 in the cutoff and Sternheimer called in the small blind.

Weiss bet 120,000 on the A33 flop, and Sternheimer came back with a raise to 390,000. Weiss took a few minutes before folding and Sternheimer showed him A3 as he took the pot.

Furth Escapes with Half Against Hastings

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Bruno Furth opened the cutoff to 150,000 and Brian Hastings called from the big blind.

On the 962 flop, Furth continued for 125,000 before Hastings jammed for 525,000 and Furth shrugged as he called.

Brian Hastings: 6532 All in
Bruno Furth: AKJ8

Hastings was in great shape with two pair and the superior low draw. However the 5 turn counterfeited Hastings low chances as Furth made a low. The Q river changed nothing and the pot was chopped.
