Action was caught on the river, with around 150,000 in the middle on the 75475.

Isaac Haxton checked in the small blind, and Mathew Frankland fired out 123,000 from the big blind. Alex Foxen took a moment before calling, which prompted Haxton to get out of the way.

Frankland was caught speeding as he tabled 96. Foxen had the goods with A5, giving him sevens full of fives.

Dan Smith opened the action raising to 10,000 from under the gun and was called by Leon Sturm on the button.

On a board of 1086, Smith check-called a 9,000 chip bet from Sturm.

The 3 turn card was followed by Smith check-calling once again, this time for 65,000.

When the river came the 9, Smith knuckled for a third time, and Sturm fired 135,000. The third shell was enough to make Smith release his hand.

Nacho Barbero raised the hijack, and next to act, Matthias Eibinger three-bet to 32,000. Action folded back to Barbero, who called.

Barbero then check-called a bet of 25,000 on a flop of 81010, before action checked through on the 7 turn.

When the river 8 was dealt, Barbero led out for 75,000. Eibinger took a moment before raising to 225,000. This put Barbero into the tank. Unsure of how to proceed, he used a time bank before returning his cards to the dealer face down.

Steven Takes a Chunk Out of Suvarna

Brandon Steven had just lost a small pot to Alex Kulev, where he defended his big blind, called a small bet on the flop before the action checked through to showdown.

Steven showed ace-high on the KJ726 board but was bested by Kulev's 97. However, he rebounded strongly on the next deal.

Santhosh Suvarna raised from middle position, with [Removed:548] calling from the button. Steven tagged along from the small blind.

Steven checked on the 1043 flop, prompting Suvarna to continue for 24,000. [Removed:549] called but Steven then raised to 114,000. Suvarna contemplated his options, and ended up calling. [Removed:558] got out of the way.

Steven sized up to 167,000 on the Q turn, which pushed his opponent out of the pot.
